Bringing a mix of European, Spanish and Moorish musical influences, the small region of Catalonia in Spain is a rich and diverse smorgasbord of cultures, foods, art, and of course, music!
In a collaboration across many miles, Amadhia recorded her flute and vocals in her home studio in Arizona, and sent the files to the Cloister studio in Indiana, where Jon GIllespie arranged the songs afterward, utilizing regional session musicians (Such as Derek Reeves, Violinist, and TIm Beeler, on Bass) as well as additional long distance collaborations, including Aaron Comess (Spin Doctors) on drums in "Incerta."
The result is this stunning collection of swirling moods and textures that causes the imagination to soar through the grandeur of the Pyrenees Mountain Range.
